Colorado Gives Day is quickly approaching, and Localworks invites you to spend it with us! Join us Tuesday, December 5th, at Esters (10151 W 26th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO) from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for a unique fundraising event promising an evening of entertainment, excitement and an opportunity to give back to your community. This Colorado Gives Day, we are hosting our second annual Bar Stool Bingo fundraising event. Attendees can anticipate a fun and interactive evening of giving! Bar Stool Bingo is a modified version of regular bingo, incorporating Wheat Ridge’s rich agricultural history by involving some of our prized poultry pals. It’s our take on a very popular, originally Texan, bar game called Chicken S#!T Bingo. Computer Chair
The rules are simple: Participants purchase a raffle ticket that has the same letter/number combinations as it would on a bingo card (i.e., B-36, O-37, etc.). But instead of playing on individual boards, it’s a single, sudden-death round and the winner is “chosen” by the chicken. The choosing chickens will be safe, warm and happy at their farm, visible to participating players via livestream. After dining, and a bit of digestion, the chickens will be ready to choose. The winner is determined by where the chicken’s droppings land on the board. Sometimes a “result” can take a few minutes, but based on last year’s event, we anticipate playing several rounds over the two-hour event. All proceeds from the night will directly benefit Localworks’ Cash for Connection campaign.
